One of the many wonderful friends I’ve made through Dan Miller’s 48 Day Eagles is Dr. Mike Chua. He is a Dementia specialist and in honor of Mental Health Awareness month he’s written a blog on how to improve mental reserve.
Here are some of his tips:
- Take care of yourself. Eat a well balanced meal, avoid cigarettes, limit alcohol intake and drink plenty of water.
- Surround yourself with good and encouraging people…[those] who will bring out the best in you.
- Start an attitude of gratitude journal.
